CanopySpeak Premium is a mobile app with a Learning Mode for honing medical terminology and speaking abilities through game-based activities. CanopyLearn is a web-based platform offering comprehensive, curriculum-based medical language courses.
Both CanopyLearn and CanopySpeak Premium were designed based on the latest science in two sub-areas of applied linguistics: computer-assisted language learning (the use of technology to learn languages) and language learning for specific purposes (i.e., focused on the communication needs particular to a specific job or situation).
CanopySpeak's Learning Mode is focused on honing medical terminology and speaking abilities in the language of your choice through short, game-based activities. Its à la carte, playlist-based approach lets you choose to practice the types of phrases most relevant to your specific day-to-day situations, such as a cardiovascular HPI or a postpartum exam. The learning activities work by breaking down long, intimidating phrases into short, manageable ones, offering multiple opportunities to practice before building back up to the full phrase.
CanopyLearn offers comprehensive, curriculum-based online medical language courses that include grammar explanations, cultural insights, reading and listening comprehension, writing, and speaking practice.
